Monday: The National Animal

Today’s adventure took us up to the Belize Zoo.  We’re not fans of zoos in the traditional sense but this one is different in that it only takes in animals that can’t survive in the wild.  All animals are indigenous to Belize.  Here is one their tapirs, Sparks.  

It was hotter and stickier today than it has been for a while.  We were back home in time for lunch and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at home.
