I looked out my window around 4:30 pm, saw some color starting and decided to make a quick trip to the waterfront hoping to get some sunset photos. Unfortunately the color did not develop into much. I was going to leave when I realized this container ship was coming into the harbour and would be passing under the bridge in a few minutes.
I went for a walk this morning on a new to me trail. I had been on part of it about 10 years ago and I wasn't really impressed with it then. I'm still not impressed with it, but it does seem to be a popular trail. For a wooded trail that runs beside a stream, there were no birds. Only a couple of crows in the parking lot picking at some garbage.
The temperature was back to normal today, the high this afternoon was around +3 C.
