Stephenson's Rocket

Today we (that is myself, husband, 11yo and our friend) went over to the National Railway Museum at York to see Station Hall before it shuts tomorrow till late 2024. We haven't been since the original Rocket moved there in 2019 so it was good to finally see it as well as the 1934 replica.

11yo spent some time watching the trains on the model railway and I can see a visit coming later in the year when the new Wonderlab is open and on a day the Signalling training model is running. He loves trains which delights my father......
