Monday: Another Bank Holiday

And it was a very sunny day! No wind and mild all day but temperature dropped quickly as the sun went down …
Managed a couple of gardening jobs: collected leaves from the path down to the shed and near the heating oil tank and cleared leaves from the path down the far side of the garage - all these leaves spread on the soil underneath the bird feeders. Also cleaned the “top” concrete path and flushed the mud off with water, much safer to walk on when refilling bird feeders as we are doing 3 times a day!
I’ve been watching the wallflower buds slowly opening for the last couple of days, I think I planted them about 3 years ago - so valuable as a food source for the pollinators when so few flowers at this time of the year :-))
