A Grand Day Out

Crackin' walk from Dunmail Raise to Grisedale Tarn, up to Cofa Pike and then Fairfield.  A few bits were very wet and icy, but the sunshine and a sheltered spot for lunch at the top was a real bonus.   Back via Stone Arthur and a bus back up the hill to the car.  
So glad we did it as the amount of traffic along the A591 and the number of cars parked on the verge at Grasmere nearly put us off.
