Thank you for all your welcome back and HNY comments. 
I am grateful to Patti Smith and her 2022 photography book of days for inspiring me to return to blip  with a daily picture record of the mundane at least for 2023, a year in which I am not gladly confident of the outcome.
Blip was becoming a bit of a chore for me which was why I left, and I won’t be responding or writing much., old curmudgeon that I now am, and apologise in advance that I am not very community minded. But there it is…
