New buds, old flowers.

Climbing hydrangea buds appear early as the new flowers will only grow on old wood, and last years flowers appear as skeletons behind.
It is a shame to be mono on such a fine day with a bright blue sky and *níl aon scamall sa speir, ach* (tell me why) I do love mono mondays.
