Cricket

The problem with having friends with birthdays on 2nd Jan is... you have to celebrate with them!  Instead of the traditional pub crawl round somewhere we, for some reason (age? weather? lack of reliable trains?), decided to stay put in one place today, a lovely pub that's often (always?) up there in the CAMRA Pub of the Year list. It's not too far from us as the crow flies, a bit further using public transport, but always worth a visit.

I left Himself and the birthday boy there as the conversation had already degenerated into the depths of cricket / football / beer I didn't want to go into.
