Paris in the 'Spring'?

Today , whilst JP was working I got the metro to Hotel de Ville which, although it is a beautiful building was disappointing due to masses of scaffolding and staging in front of it. Then walked across the Seine to Notre Dame which as always was beautiful Wandered around, and although it was teaming with people it seemed very calm and peaceful. Then decided it would be a good idea to go up the tower - all 383 steps of it - I had forgotten how amazing the views are from there. I could see the office block where JP was working! The sun came out for about 30 seconds shining on the Sacre Coeur - think I may have to go there tomorrow. Once my legs had recovered a bit I wandered around the Latin Quarter, stopping off for a visit to the church dedicated to St Surpice - which I misread at St Surplice :). Then back across the Seine to The Louvre, where I metroed back, exhausted! Lovely day!.
