Long ago in a previous life this was the local wastewater pipe. 

At low tide it stretches well out from the shore and provides a fascinating path - it’s broken and cracked with gaps and is a slight hazard, but it’s fun to walk along it when the water is splashing across the top on the incoming or outgoing tides.

This is one of those images that sparkles when seen in large - and I know all blips look better in large, but some look better than others!!
  

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s faded and battered Monarch. The dark background was provided by the rear garden in deep shadow while the foreground was bathed in sunlight.
