Microloans for disabled people in Nepal

IMPACT Nepal takes action to prevent and treat needless disability in three Terai districts.

As part of this action, microloans provide disabled people with the funding to start small businesses and live independent lives. Mrs Sudharawati was born with a hearing impairment and was granted a loan to buy this milking buffalo. Every day she sells its milk at a local market as a means of earning her way out of poverty.
