Late walk

As hubby was still struggling with his back I managed to get a few jobs done around the house. Apparently he feels better standing up so washing up isn’t a problem for him. My next door neighbour had washed clothes today but my Nan was always superstitious and said it shouldn’t be done on New Year’s Day.
By late afternoon cabin fever was setting in so we went for a gentle walk to the shop for a few bits and pieces. Both boats on the canal have been there since before Christmas so will be moving on shortly, the small closest one is unoccupied.
It was good to see Easter eggs already in the supermarket…
