Pool party

We enjoyed a wander in the woods this morning, a long and relaxed lunch at the ‘shed’ with Marianne, Simon and their daughter, Alba joining us and then a lazy afternoon. Max managed to have a nap to ensure he had a chance at staying up until midnight, Anya and Naomi played together, painted nails, watched a film. We then headed to the floating sauna before joining the kids at the pool for some night swimming and marshmallow toasting by the fire.
A very late meal back at the shed left us with only a couple of hours until countdown. Karaoke, dancing, games and laughter and all the kids made it to midnight! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to bring in the new year and feel very lucky to have such amazing friends to share it with.
