New Year Walk

Since the year 2000 our little village church in Dairsie has held an afternoon walk on New Year’s day.  I managed to gather them together before we set off ( Mrs AMK is on the far left ) and we plodded our way out of the village and around some muddy tracks before returning to the hall for coffee and cake . It was good to pass by some the fields where I picked raspberries in summer and potatoes in October when I was a boy.

Sadly the church in Dairsie is one destined to close like many others so this tradition may not last much longer. Thankfully the united church in Cupar which is part of the same congregation has been saved.

After we went with our friends I and P to their house for a delicious meal - the extra shows Mrs AMK’s rather nice pre dinner drink.
