New Year

On the spur of the moment we decided to go for a walk: it was supposed to be a short one, mostly to go and check the beginning of a trail to the park that is within walking distance.  The short walk ended up being a long walk through the park: really enjoyable even if pretty muddy.  I was glad I took my camera with me: spotted a couple of different fungi growing on downed trees (one more in the extra).
