A must on NYD

A favourite on New Year’s Day is the concert from Vienna. There is something about it that raises the spirits and is so positive. 

It brings back so many memories, especially today when the ballet was filmed in Melk Abbey in Austria. We attended midnight mass on Christmas Eve in 2011, which is recorded in my journal, one of the benefits of Blip. 

The weather was dry for most of the day, just a short downpour about lunchtime which curtailed some activities I was doing in the garden. But we did get the chance to have a walk with Amber late afternoon. 

We were home alone, so just got on with bits and pieces that we fancied, whilst the TV was on in the background.
