Starting the year off....

with an exercise in pastels!   This artist, Marla Baggetta has this video workshop for abstract paintings in pastels, the girls gave me it for my Christmas.  You had to find 4 or more, paintings you like and figure out what colours they used. That in itself was an interesting exercise in identifying various hues! Then fill in the small squares on the left with all 8 colours.  The 2" squares are then divided up so you can see how different ways you put the colours look.  A really fun and interesting exercise.

It's 2023...i wonder what will be in store for us all eh!!!
