Fingerbobs

Woken up at 4am by Kid A returning from his NYE night out. And that’s when we found out he had spent most of the previous two hours in A&E after an accident involving a fall and a mirror.
Today I took him back to the ‘minor injuries’ clinic where they x-rayed his hand to check there were no remaining fragments of glass in any of the wounds, and then re-dressed the fingers. He’s been pretty lucky - nothing too bad and it should be okay within a week or so. It could have been a lot, lot worse.
I made him some little fingerbobs (only the older members of this community will have any idea what I’m talking about) as a joke.
