New Year's Day Walk

A walk is traditional on New Year's Day & this time we chose to drive down to Shotley Gate & walk north along the Orwell Estuary before cutting across the peninsula to the Stour Estuary & back. There was hazy sunshine when we set out, turning to more haze & less sun as the walk progressed, but a very enjoyable walk none-the-less. The main image shows a view back to the Port of Felixstowe across the estuary - chosen because it's not the view I'd usually take! The extra shows my more usual type of shot, taken directly across from where we set out at Shotley Marina, just over a kilometre further south.

PS I had a Blip holiday yesterday - the earth still kept turning & I didn't have any noticeable withdrawal symptoms!
