Last walk of the year
A trip to the recycling centre tip with MrM this afternoon. (It's always good to de-clutter a little before the start of a 'new year'!) Then we drove up to Weetwood Moor for a walk.
It was a short one, as far as the trees to the left of the Blip. By the time we got there it had started raining again, and beyond that point the track was just deep mud. We were wearing walking boots, but all the same...
So, the last day of 2022, and we'll celebrate the start of 2023 in some low-key way or other, just the two of us this year.
But in my mind the 'new year' starts the day after the Winter Solstice, as the wheel of the year turns and we head toward the light again.
Happy New Year!
