Uppies v Doonies

It was back to the usual NMB Hogmanay celebrations this year starting with our version of a Ba, somewhat tamed down from previous years after some (not unwarranted) health and safety concerns :)

The Doonies claimed the victory by 1 point and then everyone piled into a neighbours for drinks and nibbles. I headed back to rest up a bit and make a pavlova for dinner.

Then it was out into the snow and over to neighbours for a lovely evening of food, drink and chat. Not to mention puppy cuddles.

The film studios opened up for the bells and a ceilidh. I was too tired to make it that far but S went down.

It's been a funny old year dominated by sickness (mine and loved ones) so wishing everyone a healthy and happy 2023.
