Word for 2023

For the last ten years I have been choosing a word on New Year's Day to focus on throughout the year.  For 2023 I've chosen the word "Gift".  We, of course, associate gifts with special days, like Christmas or birthdays.  A gift is given to you, unbidden.  I want to see if I can find one gift in my life every day.  It may not even be a tangible thing.  It could be something quite small and overlooked but still something to be treasured.  So, Gift #1 on this New Year's Day is the Blipfoto Community.  It is a gift I get to unwrap everyday with great joy.  As the old saying goes: "Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift.  That's why it is call the present."  Happy New Year Everyone!
