Happy New Year

Last day of the year and we had the pleasure of being joined by S & K, friends we have known since before we were married.  They had a rough Christmas with illness and it was only today that they felt well enough to join us. Even then they were unsure that would still be here as midnight approached. They made it and we celebrated with some bubbly.

It’s the end of my eleventh year on Blipfoto, at times it’s been a struggle, though I still enjoy creating beautiful images, many have been ordinary and E.B.’s were a mainstay.  Then again, a journal is about all times, be they good or bad and sometimes a  simple image conveys more than a stunning landscape or portrait.
