Wet Road Trip

We travelled to Poole to visit Ian’s family. We enjoyed a lovely meal out with Ian’s mum and I particularly enjoyed my scoops of apple, coconut and raspberry sorbet.

Then we headed to In’s brother and sister in law.  It was her 50th birthday so it was day long party time at their house.

It rained all day long!  This was our view (from the warmth of the car) of the quay s we killed a bit of time between lunch and heading to the party. Leo enjoyed seeing all the yachts even from that distance.

As usual my lark tendencies meant there was no chance of me staying awake to welcome the new year in.  I was fast asleep by the time the year turned over.
