Annual (Not) Dog Walk

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

We went on our annual group dog walk & lunch today.

Well, except we didn’t actually do the dog walk. Their weather was horrendous so we all walked our pooches in the morning and left them snoozing inside warm houses while the humans went for lunch in Dirleton.

The lunch was great fun. Proper pee myself laughing banter. Lovely Shuvly was there and she was telling our table about her Shop of Shame and Shop of More Shame

“And then it got worse,” she said.

Lovely Shuvly was out with her dad for lunch and popped into Iceland on the way back to buy the trolley load of frozen mince for the dogs. The same checkout assistant smiled and asked Shuvly’s dad he’d ever had her cooking.

Shuvly’s dad was completely oblivious to her precious panic lie but she does cook quite a bit for him so he truthfully answered “Oh yes, what she does is marvellous. It’s like meals on wheels”

We all laughed as she then told us about the complete b0llocking she got from her dad when she fessed up on the way home!

“And then it got worse,” she said.

The next time she went in, the checkout assistant insisted on applying 10% staff discount.

She’s going to hell!
