Casa no Río/Home in Rio

An attempt to do some admin things in the business centre of Rio, but the office was closed despite it showing open on their website. Not to worry, two interesting taxi rides and chats with the drivers..

Late lunch at La Maison in torrential rain. It's rained almost every day since we got here, two weeks today!

The shot is for our records. We always like one of the entranceway here. The entranceway has been painted since we were last here, with a couple of new things on the wall and two new chairs they're used to be a TV the wall, but that's gone now.  Perhaps it's to stop the 24 hour porters from being distracted, but we always thought it was nice for the older residents to sit and chat with a porter and comment on the TV programme. They can get everything on their phones these days anyway.
