Arrived

L picked us up at 4.45 this morning to take us to the airport, I’d got us fast track through security which helped and we had plenty of time to use our free lounge passes while waiting to board.  A good flight and caught the aero bus to our accommodation in good time for a coffee and our first pasteis de nata at Petits Fours.
A nap was in order before going to the Pingo Dos supermarket for essential supplies. Then we set out for dinner at Solar da Ajuda and just outside the gates of our aparthotel met a lady who lives in the next village who I’ve known for many years from line dancing but not seen for ages!  She and her husband are also staying here,  it’s a small world!
