Experimental Downpour Self, Aylesford

Decided to try something very different today as the weather is even more atrocious today than yesterday. So today's image is a self portrait shot with flash and the use of a clear plastic broken drawer front from our freezer! I took about twenty shots and all the others were rubbish so this was the only one that worked. I was inspired by a brilliant book called Cabin Fever by Katie Burnett (which she shot during the first lockdown) and the contorted, visceral portraits by Francis Bacon.
