River Clyde

We went down to Strathclyde Park today to see the extent of the Clyde bursting its banks. Over the last few years we’ve seen it flooded a few times , but nothing on this scale. The river is flowing really fast too, almost at the road through the park and, where the loch normally drains into the Clyde, the water level has risen at least 12 feet. We even spotted a cormorant diving in the ‘car park’ !
