Out, out, brief candle!
The rain did come down. And the hub was easily installed, all the nice Macs, iPads, iPhones, the smart TV and SONOS stuff switched over, apart from the SONOS roam. It just wouldn’t. I’ll do a factory reset when I can be ersed.
So late afternoon, we decided to watch a film. The SK, keeper of the lists, produced her watchlist and I knew from previous persusals that she’d like to watch Vesper. Remind me what it’s about again, I meekly ask. Ever tolerant, she tells me. Ah yes, it’s the word YA that once again puts me off: that’s why poor Vesper never gets off the watchlist. Apparently a genre aimed at 12-18 year olds. We decide, to be radical and watch it, big kids that we are. And there’s a lot to like about it, particularly the bio-hacking. And an evil Eddie Marsan. Belgian-Lithuanian co-production too. You’ve got to love that.
And goodbye Pele, great footballer of yesteryear. Sadly, I must admit that football was of no interest to me at all until the 80s but I gather he was a thoroughly decent egg. I fear that’s not really an expression I picked up on the terracing.
