Afternoon Tea

One of the mothers has just hit a significant birthday that ends with a zero, the other hits the same milestone in 6 months. This is the first time in almost 23 years of marriage and 28 years of ‘dating’ that we’ve had both mothers to stay at the same time. To celebrate all of these, we took them to the Greenbank for a festive afternoon tea. Very nice it was too! So nice we asked for boxes to take the leftovers home!! Classy.

This evening the elder offspring went into town boozing and we played games with the grandmothers - Chameleon, Banagrans and Rummikub. So much fun was had we ended up playing until we’ll past 11. No early start tomorrow is my prediction…
