Daughter A and her family were up in Scotland for 3 days so we had a lovely couple of days with them and were able to exchange Christmas presents.  They hadn’t any snow this year so enjoyed snowball fights and their dog loved trying to catch the snow balls.  During a walk through the forest he had carried a large stick for about 5 kms and had probably run twice that distance running for the stick.  Most of the time the sleet and rain continued without stopping so it curtailed our walk but we had a great time playing games in their cosy apartment afterwards.
