Holy Corner

Grabbed a blip through the windscreen while stuck in traffic. Which was a feature of the morning.

Ruby was hoping to get the train to Aberdeen, Joe was meeting up with pals. So I drove them into town. It was a bit hairy getting to the bypass which was closed due to flooding. Squelched through to Morningside eventually. Then headed home through a very soggy Holyrood Park. Inevitably Ruby’s train was cancelled, then the next one, then all trains up north. It was suggested she bought a coach ticket instead, once she’d parted with £50 they told her that was cancelled too.

Eventually she gave in and returned home.

Joe staying in town as he has tickets for the street party but no idea if that’ll go ahead if the rain keeps hammering down.
