Rescue

Our daughters house has been flooded - a combination of very heavy rain and the Council not maintaining the drains. The kids were rescued by the firemen; their parents battled for a while against the rising water level before they had to abandon their home. They are safe, traumatised and will be with us for a while but that’s more than OK. A difficult year for them is not ending well.
