Downstream

It rained hard, for a long time, and we started to see video clips online of the WoL rushing through Stockbridge, totally immersing the Gormleys, and flooding over the banks in places - apparently they closed the flood gates on Warriston Road. Down at the Shore it was a bit higher than usual but much faster. Lots of debris heading down to the docks; what looked like a Xmas tree on the left here, moving at speed.

Looking at the bridge, I think the WoL boat crew would have a hard time getting under the centre arch, even if they were all lying down!
