Feddet

Hero was very very sound sensitive and New Year was a nightmare for him with all the fireworks. He taught me to leave town during the dreaded night. He is no longer with us, but I am still doing my best to protect the boys from the worst fireworks. I am so hapy that neither of the dogs I have now are afraid of it, but it only takes one bad experience to make them anxious, so I am still leaving town for New Year.

So we packed our stuff this morning and left to go to Feddet, where we have booked a small cabin for 2 nights.

Feddet is a protected area and fireworks are only allowed for one hour between midnight and 1 AM on New Years Eve and only on the beach.
We were here last year too and it worked really well, so we are doing it again this year.

We arrived at around noon. I got us sorted in the cabin and then we went for a long and beautiful walk.

Before we left, I had put up 4 Nose Work hides, so when we came back from our walk, I let each of the boys find the hides before we went inside.

I had some pancakes and I watched a movie on my laptop before I fed the boys and started cooking my own dinner. I will eat soon and then I will take my boys for an evening walk.

My main picture is from our walk and the extra is the cabin, more pictures from our walk and some pictures from our Nose Work searches.

See you tomorrow
