Last breath

Angie phoned me midday - her car had blown up again. Luckily not far away in Ottobeuren. So while she phoned ADAC (=UK's AA, USA's AAA) and I drove over with my car to empty hers of all the shopping.

The pickup people didn't ever bother to see if it was reparable but took it over to our garage in Erkheim. Angie is at her wits end, the car as pleasant as it is to drive, has been giving her nothing but hassle, stress & costs of late. It's time to write it off.

On calling the garage to say the car was coming to him, the garage owner wasn't overly excited. Very busy as people now changing to winter tyres, he'd try to have a look at it in the next week(s)!
