Heat exchange

For a couple of years have been planning to exchange our three circulation pumps on the wood pellet central heating to the new highly efficient, electricity-saving ones.

Normally, I wouldn't have trusted myself to do the work but decided to give it a go. Went much better than expected, a few moments of panic & the layout of the new one's doesn't allow optimal positioning. The two with digital displays have to be turned on their side, but actually not a problem as once set, one doesn't look at them after the initial few days of simple interest as to how many Watts they consume.

Not a cheap undertaking, but I'm sure environmentally sensible & in the long term also for the purse. And given the old pumps have 16 years service, it was probably only a matter of time before they failed.
