Right Behind Ya, Mom!

This is my daughter Lisa and her dear little mini horse, Peanut. I spent a wonderful Mother's Day with them. We had fun sampling the chocolates Rob sent me and even more fun reading the description of each one, for instance: "Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans infused into creme ganache, layered with a classic brulee crunch and encased in 70% dark chocolate." We cut them in half so we both could taste each one. We made it through about six before the choco-meter hit the danger zone.

My grandson, Dustin, called me first thing this morning with his cheery "Hi Grandma!. He's a truck driver on the road at the moment hauling flowers from growers in Oregon to retailers. He told me that the flowers are beautiful, they smell wonderful, the weather's great and there always seems to be a pretty girl on the loading dock when he arrives at his destination. I think he said something like "it doesn't get any better than this". And that's exactly what I thought of today.
