Abbey Gardens, Bury St Edmunds

Apparently, Bury St Edmunds is also known as St Edmundsbury. But most people round these parts just call it Bury. (Not to be confused with Bury near Manchester.)

The abbey is in ruins now, and seems to be a favoured hang-out spot for da yoof.

The cathedral is adjacent to the gardens. I didn't know that Bury had a cathedral, so I learnt that, if nothing else, from my trip to Bury.
