A Mess of Stuff

Ellie got a box of stuff in a Fairy House Kit for Christmas; of course, my son sent the kit home with me so he didn't have to deal with it. He made a good choice because all this stuff (150 pieces) had to be punched out and then nothing stayed together and there was no place to put it...until Ellie remembered a cardboard box she was saving in the hall closet. We added glitter trees and a sunset sky in the back of the box and we glued all the parts inside. The only movable part now is the little wood fairy and her clothes. So much better than all these loose pieces spreading all over the table and a little Ellie who was getting very frustrated. We had fun once we decided to get the glue gun out.

Then we zoned out watching a Hallmark movie; Ellie fell asleep on the sofa and I finished a project. When she woke up, we went out for Chinese food and then we drove thru the Christmas Lights at the nearby stadium We had fun.
