Mottisfont

After waving goodbye to Adam and Tomoko as they caught the train home, Paul and I drove down to Mottisfont Abbey for an afternoon out. What a mistake! It was heaving with people which I guess wasn’t surprising given it it’s the Christmas holidays and the best weather of the week. There was no way we were going the long queue for the house or the cafe, so we walked around the grounds and left again. Oh well, it was a nice day for a drive, and we had Christmas cake and a cup of tea at home instead. Now for a few days of calm before the rat race starts up again!
