Out with the Grandchildren

..to Lyme Park on a cold, miserable wet and windy day.
And to think they were all looking forward to going there.
Still, they were really well behaved and there were a lot of sunny smiles, and there were fig rolls* in the picnic, so all in all everybody agreed that it was a good outing.
Despite packing a picnic we still managed to end up in the cafe, where Evie was concentrating on making a necklace - clever girl.

*surprisingly, fig rolls were a big hit especially with Emilance. I can't stand them myself.
