Shooting a shoot

A local farm always has a Boxing Day shoot. It was delayed until today and I managed to get an invitation for my first experience of clay pigeon shooting. Loud, muddy and cold, but lots of fun. They picked a field with a huge pylon, which made it tricky to photograph. I think I'll try for another invitation next year.
