Being Shelfish
The Stromness Bookshop is the very antithesis of the corporate every high street book shop. It’s only twenty feet wide. It brings in to play the very concept of a Pandora’s box. Books on sale are conscientiously offered. After sniffing a few new hardbacks I went along to gather with the Heatherdale Dancers. The Current Mrs Creel rode shot gun. The party was very good. Started at 10.00rs and finished at 16.00 hrs. Dances included: Thistle Dubh, Father Connoly’s Jig, Kelpies of Coruisk, Lady in Red, Black Black Oil, Never at Sea, Bonnie Bells.
