Memories of autumn

Paul came this morning and we spent the morning selecting items from local newspapers for the latest edition of Talking Newspaper for the Blind. We managed to find enough material to make a reasonable edition. Paul then took our selection to another volunteer, Les, who sends it via Drop Box to three readers/recorders. Memory sticks will be posted to the listeners tomorrow. It is a well oiled system, dependent on volunteers.
I was pleased to see Paul as it has been a quiet week when I haven’t seen a soul. I was planning to potter in the garden this afternoon but discovered there was a cold wind, so I stayed out there just long enough to get my photo then scuttled back indoors.
