Female Mallard

I went for a lovely walk with G in the sunshine around Pensthorpe this morning. It was surprisingly busy when we arrived, but mainly families who stay within a hundred metres or so of the entrance. We stopped at a hide on the far side of the lake and G got a nice photo of the muntjac (mine was blurry) https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3055161715982337661
I chose a photo of a female mallard in the sun, I think they're so pretty. It's always a great place for a walk, with a guarantee of an interesting selection of photography subjects.
