GWR?

The train approaching platform 2 is not going to London Paddington after all, even though daughter#2 booked tickets this morning and the GWR app still says it is. It is only going to Oxford now, then it's every man for himself. Actually they got an alternative train OK from Oxford. I spoke to the guard and she said it had to terminate at Oxford as there wasn't a train manager to take it on to Paddington. Short staffed apparently.

They had booked first class too, only an extra £7. That's why they are waiting on a different part of the platform to the rest of the plebs.

We had to make a diversion on the way to the station as the road was closed. Only it wasn't. On the way home we just ignored the several road closed signs and drove around them. No roadworks or closures were encountered.

And at the station there was a sign saying no trains were running from there today because of the industrial action, or should it be inaction.

Nothing is what it seems today.
