Ready to fly

Went to western springs on my way home, For a walk around the lake. And to take some photos. 

Once again I thought this was a Little Black Shag (Kawau tui), only to see that the bill is very clearly yellow, meaning that this Kawau paka (Little Pied Shag) in the black phase.

I've posted two extras. One from the walk at Western Springs; a male Papango (NZ Scaup). The other is in Eden Terrace, seen when walking to find lunch
