Sweet charity?

Dear blippers, I am so sorry for this photo but today has not been the day for attempting beautiful photos. My sister and I are both very stiff and sore. This is her nastiest blister. I have been quite fortunate on the blister front this year. My trouble is that both of my hips click with each and every step. I finally warmed up at around lunchtime, having been awake most of the night shivering. The queasiness has worn off now too so all I need to worry about now is getting my legs back to normal.

Despite everything, we both agreed it was worth it. We have raised about £2.5k for Mum's disability charity.

Mum, my sis and I went for lunch and then called to see some of the family. My niece was raising money for her charity trip to work in an African hospital before she starts her medical degree in September so we went along to support. She did very well and I'm glad we made the effort to go along, but I needed a nap afterwards. All this charity fundraising is exhausting!
